As of January 1, 2014, the City of Freiburg introduced the accommodation tax (also known as the bed tax). We are therefore legally required to collect this levy, amounting to 5% of the accommodation price, and remit it to the City of Freiburg. Please note that our room rates already include this tax, so there will be no additional charge for you. This also applies to business-related stays, in accordance with the ruling of the Federal Constitutional Court.
